For nearly 40 years, the Lake Charlevoix Association has been working to protect the lake for its present users and for future generations. With more than 550 current members, it represents a substantial portion of those who live on or near the lake either year-round or seasonally. It works in partnership with all groups that share its goals -- including local governments, state agencies, nongovernmental units like the Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council and WATCH and homeowner associations.
